Home Care Community Services, LLC (HCCS) provides non-medical in-home care and personal assistance services to individuals and families throughout South Mississippi. Our goal is to support independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life through compassionate, dependable assistance with everyday activities.
HCCS provides non-medical personal care and supportive services based on each client's individual needs and authorized Individualized Service Plan.
Services may include:
All services are subject to HCCS policies, caregiver qualifications, applicable requirements, and the client's authorized service plan.
HCCS is a non-medical home care provider. We do not provide skilled nursing services, medical diagnoses, medical treatment, injections, wound care, physical therapy, or other skilled clinical services.
HCCS caregivers may provide medication reminders only when authorized in the client's Individualized Service Plan.
HCCS caregivers do not administer medications, select medications, determine dosages, change medication instructions, or make medical decisions.
Our services are not intended to replace the care, treatment, or professional judgment of physicians, nurses, therapists, or other licensed healthcare professionals.
HCCS does not provide emergency medical services.
In the event of a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
Caregivers are expected to follow HCCS emergency response and reporting procedures when emergencies or significant safety concerns arise during service delivery.
HCCS services should not be relied upon as a substitute for emergency medical response or continuous medical supervision.
Before routine services begin, HCCS conducts an appropriate non-medical assessment to identify the client's assistance needs, preferences, routines, home environment, and relevant safety considerations.
An Individualized Service Plan is developed to identify the services authorized for each client.
Services are subject to caregiver availability, caregiver qualifications, safety considerations, applicable payer authorizations, and the terms of the client's service agreement.
HCCS reserves the right to decline, modify, suspend, or discontinue services when a client's needs exceed the agency's authorized non-medical scope or when services cannot be provided safely, subject to applicable agreements and requirements.
